I put the first marks on the canvas in June, worked on it through July, and then didn't touch it again until December. In the mean time, I'd had an entire semester's worth of two illustration classes and a painting class on top of them.
I finished it yesterday, and is probably the best piece of art I've produced thus far. Given this, I don't want to look at it again for a month.
I like flowey ladies and the color blue. The clouds probably own about 60% of the time and effort that went into the entire painting, and I'm still shocked that they're not overworked. The foreground was the last thing I did and I still can't decide how much to hate it.
It's my hope that every person who views this feels at least a whisper of the emotion I tried to invest in this painting.
