First, The Prestige:


IRRITAITING. IRRITATING AND DISAPPOINTING. ksdjfhd. Okay, it was pretty and I want to lick Christian Bale inappropriately (...there are appropriate ways to lick him?) but I had no emotional connection with anyone at all, it was SO. SCRIPTY. and the punchline required actual magic!


Okay, here's my thing about The Illusionist: while certain parts required some suspension of disbelief (and if I got that phrase wrong it's because it's 1AM and I can't think in a straight line anymore), the punchline was a trick, and it was revealed in one of the best ending sequences I have ever seen in my life.


The Prestige? "LOL IT'S MAGIC, FOOLS, GO HOME IT'S NOT REAL IT CAN NEVER BE REAL OOH LOOK, IT'S SCARLETT JOHANSSEN YOU DON'T HAVE TO PAY ATTENTION TO THE PLOT ANYMORE <3333333."


It irked me greatly. I fast forwarded a lot.


Okay, so, PROM!




That's my friend Sean and I (:. I loved my dress so much, and Tracy straightened my hair for me! <3




(my room looks nasty. that's Tracy, by the way, in her gorgeous dress!!!)


Sooo. I actually did dance. A lot! It was fun, even though the dance floor was way too small for the number of people on it XD. And my shoes were amazing, they didn't hurt at all.


Loud music was loud, though ):.


I had a fun time, and then instead of afterprom activities, Michelle, Tracy, and I went to see an off-Broadway show today. Good times.
